About Us

Our Story

The International Association of Evangelical Chaplains (IAEC) East and North African Regions is a regional chapter of IAEC – International. We are an interdenominational Association of believers in Jesus Christ who are committed to proclaim a holistic gospel of Jesus Christ to the Uniformed Forces, in active duty and retired and their families. The niche of our ministry is in Chaplains training, in the effort to encourage, equip and empower the Uniformed Forces to become a Godly influence upon military culture and the civilian community whom they serve. However, we also extend charity to the families of Uniformed Forces such as the widows, orphans,  soldiers with special needs and veterans

IAEC STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of judgment.
  7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  8. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image.
  9. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female and these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.
  10. We believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman that reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church, and that any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is sin.
